About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to join the Butlin's Team based in Bognor Regis.

We believe that variety is the spice of life. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop our team in the Buffets Department across various food venues.
You will lead a brigade of up to 30 team members across one main kitchen serving four restaurants, and two smaller kitchens providing breakfast and dinner for guests. You will ensure Junior Kitchen Managers lead each shift, maintain compliance with food safety and Health & Safety policies, place orders with our onsite warehouse, and ensure HACCP processes are followed.
You will communicate with the Food Development Team regarding operational challenges and develop a motivated, proactive culinary team with high ethical standards that deliver cost-effective, quality service. You will enforce cost control procedures, monitor waste and breakage, and collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
About You
We seek individuals with experience managing large-scale, volume-led kitchen operations, with a proven track record of managing team performance and developing staff in a commercial culinary environment.
You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements to ensure consistent delivery of our brand standards. Energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and fun-loving candidates who understand their role's value in enhancing the guest experience are ideal.
You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Working Hours
40 hours per week, five days over seven, with shifts ranging from 10 am to 8 pm, including occasional breakfast shifts. The role is part of a bonus scheme.
