Salary: GBP38,000 - GBP48,000 per annum + pension
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer whose primary objective is to support operational continuity by resolving breakdowns and delivering maintenance. Additionally, the role involves driving site improvements in machinery, quality, and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance across the factory
* Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in compliance with hygiene standards
* Ensure all health and safety standards are met and equipment complies with legal standards
* Carry out repairs during production, either individually or as part of a team
* Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) with a proactive approach
* Manage engineering time effectively to reduce downtime
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Multi-skilled with a formal engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or mechanical disciplines
* Possess 17th or 18th Edition Certification
* Proactive fault-finding skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
* Practical attitude and team-oriented approach
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
