Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking an experienced and passionate Programme Leader in Automotive to join our innovative Automotive team. This pivotal leadership role focuses on the delivery, coordination, and continuous improvement of our automotive programmes, ensuring they meet the highest educational standards and industry needs.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
As a key member of our Automotive team, your primary responsibilities are:
* Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, inclusive automotive curriculum across a range of qualifications.
* Coordinate day-to-day programme operations, including planning, teaching, assessment, quality assurance, and resource management.
* Ensure curriculum compliance with awarding body regulations and drive continuous improvement through course reviews and quality improvement plans.
* Support and mentor staff within the programme area, promoting professional development and best practice in teaching and assessment.
* Engage in student recruitment, guidance, and progression activities to ensure a positive learner journey and strong outcomes.
* Monitor and act on performance indicators such as attendance, retention, achievement, and student satisfaction.
