Senior Project Officer Hours: 24.5 per week (part time) Contract Type: Fixed term until 31/03/2026 Apply by 21st October 2025 About the role The Conservation Volunteers are seeking a Senior Project Officer to lead volunteer sessions that deliver positive action for biodiversity in Forth Valley. Working in partnership with Forth Climate Forest and Clackmannanshire Council, the Senior Project Officer will be responsible for delivering a programme of public tree planting sessions throughout the Wee County. This role will be focused on leading high quality and engaging volunteer opportunities, delivering on our commitment to strategic initiatives including the Forth Climate Forest, Nature Networks and the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy. Key elements of the role include: Leading volunteer sessions to support nature including tree planting and maintenance. Recruiting, developing and supporting our team of Volunteers and Volunteer Officers. Undertaking site surveys and carrying out risk assessments. Building relationships with key partners and stakeholders. Managing local resources including our Alloa Office tools and vehicles. Delivering within and managing the project budget. Use online and physical materials to promote TCV's work to local people and partners. Monitor the success of the project by keeping records, analysing statistics and producing written reports on progress. This role is offered at 3.5 days per week (24.5 hours) to the end of March 2026 preferably with some evening or weekend work to support individuals and community groups to engage. A full, clean or near clean UK driving licence is required for this post, which has been held for a minimum of one year.
