Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Nestlé Waters team at our state-of-the-art production facility in Buxton. A day in the life of a Maintenance Planner
* Manage existing assets through planned maintenance, including weekly scheduling, task prioritization, and shutdown planning in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Review, create, and optimize maintenance plans in SAP, facilitating the implementation of 5W&1H (SMPs and Task Lists) for scheduled maintenance.
* Coordinate with third-party maintenance providers to ensure high-quality service and cost efficiency.
* Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
* Build engineering capabilities, including SAP (AMM) competencies within the team.
* Support budget management by providing data for maintenance planning and tracking, and deploy reports to monitor maintenance indicators.
* Manage spare parts, including creating critical spares, reviewing BOMs, and supporting slow-moving parts reviews to ensure availability.
* Optimize maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with engineering and hygiene standards.
* Support safety and quality issue resolution.
* Maintain technical documentation and contribute to site initiatives such as HACCP, ISO9002, and CDM.
* Raise purchase orders and liaise with maintenance engineers and technicians as needed.
What will make you successful?
You should have:
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in planning or a similar role within the FMCG industry (preferably food/beverage).
* Proficiency in SAP/CMMS, Microsoft SharePoint, and Power BI (or equivalent).
* A strong character to ensure compliance, motivated, positive attitude, and a collaborative mindset.
* A strategic vision and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
