A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join a leading global building services provider on a flagship contract at Heathrow Airport. Working across a wide and varied estate that includes aircraft maintenance hangars, pilot and cabin crew training centres, and general office buildings, you'll play a key role in keeping the critical infrastructure running smoothly.
The Role:
As part of an established facilities team, you will be responsible for a range of planned and reactive electrical maintenance duties, including:
* Fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of systems
* General power and lighting maintenance
* Emergency lighting tests and inspections
* Minor electrical installations and upgrades
* Ensuring compliance with statutory testing requirements (e.g. EICRs, PAT testing, distribution board checks)
* Supporting with fire alarm and life safety systems maintenance
* Basic fabric and building services tasks when required (e.g. checking doors, lights, sockets)
* Accurately completing job sheets and compliance records via handheld device
* Liaising with on-site stakeholders to report issues and maintain excellent service standards
What We're Looking For:
* Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition essential
* Some facilities maintenance experience desirable, but we're open to recently qualified engineers looking to take the next step
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn, full training and support provided
Package:
* Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
* Hours: 6:30am – 6:30pm (4 on, 4 off – days only)
* Holiday: 20 shift days per year
