Building Control Technical Support Officer
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Central Building Control Partnership team at Lichfield District Council. Local authority building control is responsible for ensuring building work relating to low rise/risk buildings complies with national standards, and buildings remain safe.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for customers, addressing non‑compliance enquiries via telephone and email
* Book and coordinate site inspections
* Register Building Regulation applications, CPS notifications and Initial Notices
* Process payments and send key documents and notices to dutyholders
