Clinical LeadPermanent, Full Time (43 hours per week) We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join our warm and friendly team at Whitgift House. The Clinical Lead is an integral role within the Care Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care to our residents. As Clinical Lead, you will oversee clinical standards, lead nursing and care teams, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role bridges management and frontline care; promoting best practice, continuous improvement, and a culture of dignity and compassion. It supports high clinical standards, resident wellbeing, and team development within a multidisciplinary setting. Key Responsibilities Provide visible and effective clinical leadership to the nursing and care team. Ensure the highest standards of clinical care for all residents that respects dignity, independence and choice. Support the delivery of specialist care for residents with complex needs, including Dementia, cognitive decline, frailty, palliative care, and long-term conditions. Conduct regular audits (e.g., clinical documentation, infection control, medicine management, wound care etc.) and drive continuous improvement. Mentor, guide, develop and supervise team members through supervision and training. Work collaboratively with senior management and external stakeholders Be integral in the creation and management of clinical budgets and resources. Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting and reviews. This is an overview of the key responsibilities. Please refer to the job description for more detailed information.About You Qualified Nurse: Holds a Registered Nurse (NMC) qualification with a valid PIN. Proven experience in a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical lead role. Experience (and clinical knowledge) in the care of older adults. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Solid understanding of clinical governance and quality standards Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care The closing date for applications is 12 May 2026.
