We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
* Ensure all work surfaces are clean and sanitised to meet health and safety standards.
* Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating meals.
* Help with stock rotation and organisation of kitchen supplies.
* Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines while performing duties.
* Assist in maintaining a tidy dining area as needed during service hours.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a must.
* Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous.
* Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting will be considered a plus.
* A background in hospitality or culinary arts can enhance your application.
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role.
