As our Housing and Property expert, youll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancyand rent accounts
What youll do
* Working with our Independent Living over 55 customers
* Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies whilst ensuring that we are health and safety compliant.
* Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
* Where there is a need, youll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.
* Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and formaximum occupancy, youllturn around vacant or voidpropertieswithin set timescales.

You have
* Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties
* Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
* Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues
* The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
* A can do positive attitude, youre proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative.

The practical bits
* Flexible working hours between 9am and 5pm Mon-Friday
* Based at our service in Harlow youll spend your time ensuring the building is safety compliant, repairs are reported and completed, supporting customers via welfare calls and rent queries and arrears.
* Able to use technology for keeping Health & Safety files up to date, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups.
* To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!
* Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
