We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a busy engineering and manufacturing team in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and potentially programming CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components. Key Responsibilities Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Loading programs and making adjustments where required Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections Ensuring components are produced to tight tolerances Maintaining machines and reporting any faults or issues Working to production schedules and deadlines Following all health & safety procedures Requirements Previous experience as a CNC Machinist (Setter/Operator) Ability to read technical drawings confidently Understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards Experience with Fanuc / Siemens / Mazatrol controls (preferred) Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Desirable Skills CNC programming experience Multi-axis machining experience Background in aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering Experience working with metals such as steel, aluminium, or stainless steel
