As an Analysis Engineer at Safran, your role will be to perform static, fatigue and FEA analysis tasks for the development of efficient landing gear systems for aircraft to meet demanding customer requirements. Responsibilities
1. Classical static stress and fatigue analysis
2. Interfacing with other areas of the business where necessary: Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, Manufacturing, etc
3. Present information for reviews as and when requested
4. Identify analysis solutions and recommend improvements or suggest alternative methods
5. Review Drawings, designs, concessions and repairs, communicate professionally & effectively with both internal & external customers and suppliers
6. Comply with industry standards, regulations & qualification requirements

Candidate skills & requirements
What do I need to succeed in this role?
Essential
• Degree, or equivalent experience, in relevant Engineering discipline
• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly present information
• Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
• Organised and able to work to strict deadlines
Desirable
• Knowledge of aerospace materials and manufacturing processes
• Basic knowledge of CAD and FE tools (CATIA V5 and Abaqus)
• Awareness of configuration management
