Electrical Panel Builder

The Role
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Panel Builder to join our small, friendly team. You will be responsible for the full build of control panels and machine wiring, as potentially assisting with electrical design using EPLAN or SolidWorks.
Key Responsibilities
* Physical build, layout, and wiring of electrical control panels and custom test machines.
* Work directly from electrical drawings and circuit diagrams to ensure neat and 100% accuracy in the build
* Ensure all builds and designs adhere to quality procedures, maintaining high standards of workmanship and documentation.
* Carry out electrical testing and fault rectification to ensure compliance with H&S, Machinery Directives and CE marking.
* Liaising with clients and contractors to ensure efficient delivery and providing on-site installation and testing support during commissioning and handover.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience in electrical panel building and industrial machine wiring.
* Knowledge of risk-assessing machinery and implementing safety concepts.
* We expect full flexibility to perform a variety of tasks beneficial to the company's output and profitability.
* Must possess a full and clean driving license.
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
* TUV Certified machinery Expert certification is a plus
* Essential to have City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations)
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or Panel Wiring
Location: Honiley, CV8
Salary: £30k to £35k
37.5 hours per week
