Principal Analog IC Design Engineer
The Data Center and Energy team at Analog Devices is seeking a PRINCIPAL ANALOG IC DESIGN ENGINEER. The successful candidate will join a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, working with a global team of innovators to develop new industry-leading IC products for the high-growth data center and energy markets.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development of analog systems for mixed-signal products, working with a team of analog designers to define specifications, develop architectures and execute designs, including transistor-level design, behavioral modeling, develop optimized solutions with consideration of performance, area, power, risk, resources, and schedule
2. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development flows and methodologies for the team
3. Provide guidance and support to other functions, including the layout team, test development, and bench evaluation
4. Participate in customer engagements, in support of technical feasibility and proposals
5. Provide mentorship and technical leadership, enabling a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
6. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with 15+ years of analog circuit design experience
7. Experience in complex IC and IP developments
8. Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
9. Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
10. Strong team worker within multi-discipline, multi-cultural and multi-site environments
11. Advanced understanding of analog and mixed-signal design flow and top-down development methodology
12. Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
13. General analog design experience but particularly power management design experience, especially hotswap controllers & electronic fuses; or experience in data converters and amplifiers
14. Python scripting ability
15. Analog behavioral modeling experience
