This role is within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team, which delivers large-scale capital programmes to keep water infrastructure resilient and environmentally friendly.
What will you be doing?
Morrison Water Services is recruiting a Project Manager for our Southern Water contract north of Southampton. You will be part of our Site Team responsible for delivering a major cross-country pipeline, WSR, and pumping station as part of Southern Water's Water for Life project. This flagship project involves designing, constructing, testing, and commissioning approximately 21km of large diameter DI pipeline, an 8.5ML WSR, and a Pumping Station, with construction starting in Spring 2025.
Responsibilities include:
* Reporting project status to all levels of the organization and client team.
* Producing and updating the project programme with the project planner.
* Ensuring safe, efficient, and timely project delivery, promoting best practices in quality management.
* Identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
* Fostering a collaborative environment for idea sharing and best practice.
* Collaborating with clients, designers, regulatory authorities, and delivery teams.
* Ensuring environmental compliance.
What you’ll bring:
* Experience in the Water Industry, especially on large, complex civil engineering projects.
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Experience with large diameter pipelines, no-dig techniques, reinforced concrete water structures, and pumping stations.
