Stores Assistant / Stores Operative Location: Nottingham, Beeston Open to relocating when the business moves Hours: Monday to Friday Pay: 12.21 - £12.71 We are looking for a reliable and proactive Stores Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our clients on-site stores. This role is essential to ensuring materials, stock, and equipment are organised, controlled, and available to keep the business running smoothly. The position involves a mix of manual handling, stock control, and administrative tasks, working closely with the Stores Manager and wider team. Key Responsibilities Receive and check deliveries, promptly reporting any discrepancies to the Stores Manager Support the Stores Manager with effective stock control and stock rotation Organise and maintain the stores so items are clearly labelled, easy to locate, and stored in line with health and safety guidelines Manage goods inwards and outwards, ensuring all movements are accurate and completed on time Carry out regular housekeeping to keep the stores clean, tidy, and safe at all times Maintain accurate stock records and reports Assist with regular stock takes Skills, Experience & Qualifications Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or similar role Strong attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Good time management and organisational skills Competent in using computer systems INDAS
