Pupils have an EHCP and benefit from personalised, therapeutic support to enable learning and development. The school is committed to fostering resilience, independence, and respect in all learners, with a curriculum tailored to their needs.\n\nAbout the role:\nSeeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join a committed team supporting pupils across all key stages with SEMH needs.
Delivering creative, accessible maths lessons that build confidence and develop essential numeracy skills.\n\nWe're looking for a dedicated candidate to:\n\nCreate a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment\nPlan and deliver differentiated maths lessons tailored to individual learning needs\nSupport students in developing their numerical understanding and problem-solving skills\nEncourage a positive attitude toward learning through consistency and encouragement\nCollaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including therapists and support staff\nBuild strong, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and colleaguesRequirements:\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)\nSpecialism or strong background in mathematics\nExperience teaching pupils with SEMH or additional needs\nA strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection\nExcellent classroom and behaviour management skills\nA calm, patient, and resilient approach to teachingOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted\n Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
