About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support across our London office and Northern Europe region. This role ensures smooth IT operations, compliance, and user satisfaction through proactive and responsive service.
Key responsibilities
* Provide desk-side and remote support for users across Northern Europe.
* Build and configure PCs, laptops, and peripheral hardware.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, networks, mobile devices, and telecom systems.
* Manage tickets escalated from the Global IT Service Desk and ensure SLA compliance.
* Participate in 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
* Maintain accurate IT asset records and manage procurement activities.
* Ensure adherence to corporate IT and security policies.
* Support disaster recovery processes and maintain data integrity through backups.
* Liaise with external service providers for efficient issue resolution.
* Develop user guides and provide training to staff where needed.
About you
* Minimum 5 years of 2nd line support experience in a similar environment.
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange.
* Hands‑on experience with Dell hardware, SCCM, and mobile device management.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCSA / MCSE, Cisco CCNA) and ITIL knowledge are advantageous.
