The Division
At NSS TESTING we specialise in the testing, installation and maintenance of fall protection and access systems, delivering all aspects of electrical and mechanical project work for commercial clients and property managers across the UK. As a company we are able to offer comprehensive design, manufacturing and installation services for a wide of external and internal access packages as well as a range of inspections / testing to ensure buildings are complaint with current legislation.
Your job will include:
• Supporting delivery of projects within planned margins and in the safest way
• Providing quotations to internal and external clients to support the exceeding of company sales
targets
• Maintaining a high level of dependable service
• Supporting multiple projects at any given time
• Procurement of materials for projects
• Preparation of RAMS
• Helping develop team members including empowering people
• Working closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure continuous improvement
• Working together with other divisions to grow the relationship
You are good at:
* Supporting the Estimating Manager when required
* Supporting the Access & Safety team
* Supporting the management team in achieving the organisations key objectives.
* Ability to take ownership of the tasks in relation to resource, fleet, materials, margins etc
* Support the performance of the installation teams, ensuring that all staff are trained, competent and motivatedto carry out their roles
* Supporting multiple contracts / projects in various locations around the UK from inception to completion.
* Producing job packs for works including Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Material lists whenrequired
* Liaising with clients to ensure best in class service is maintained
* Supporting contract order bank, including the adding of new and removal of old orders upon invoicing
* Liaising with the Account Management team for scheduling purposes
* Providing reporting to the management team where required
* Undertaking or assisting with pricing of large and complex schemes where required
* Ensuring tasks are carried out in the safest way to ensure a safe working environment for all working from various locations as required
* Being positive when the going gets tough
* Carrying out additional tasks as requested by the Estimating Manager or Operations Manager
