Purpose of the Role To lead and supervise mechanical works on construction, installation, and refurbishment projects within the water and wastewater industry. The Mechanical Site Supervisor will oversee site teams, coordinate resources, ensure compliance with WIMES (Water Industry Mechanical and Electrical Specifications), client specifications, and health and safety standards, while delivering projects safely, on time, and to quality requirements. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate mechanical site teams, subcontractors, and resources. * Plan and oversee installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems. * Manage and monitor pipework installation across multiple materials and sizes, including: * Ductile Iron, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, UPVC, and ABS. * Diameters from 25mm to 1200mm. * Ensure works are delivered in line with WIMES standards and client specifications. * Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and daily briefings to maintain safety and productivity. * Oversee compliance with method statements, risk assessments, and safe systems of work. * Provide first-line supervision for health, safety, and quality on site. * Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems. * Liaise with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure smooth project delivery. * Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and ...
