We're looking to recruit a Housing Officer in Liverpool on a temporary basis initially for 3 months until December 2025. You'll be responsible for managing your own patch of properties and act as the key point of contact for tenants.
Key responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality housing, tenancy and estate management services
2. Carry out tenancy audits and home visits to ensure occupancy and identify support needs
3. Investigate and resolve breaches of tenancy, including anti-social behaviour, subletting and property misuse
4. Prepare case files and documentation for legal proceedings, such as possession or injunction applications, and attending evictions where required
5. Conduct regular estate inspections to identify issues such as fly-tipping, vandalism or maintenance needs
6. Provide advice and support to tenants to assist in tenancy sustainment and accessing relevant services
7. Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed by identifying and reporting concerns appropriately
What you'll need to succeed
8. Experience of delivering frontline housing and tenancy management services
9. Good knowledge and understanding of housing legislation and best practice
10. Confident in managing ASB cases and tenancy breaches
11. Flexible, resilient and self-motivated
12. Driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance
