As a Renewals & Retention Advisor at Clearsight Energy, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong connections with our valued customers. You'll be responsible for managing contract renewals, addressing concerns with care, and ensuring a seamless experience that keeps our clients coming back. This position calls for a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine commitment to delivering top-tier service and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively contact customers prior to contract expiry to discuss renewal options and negotiate terms to secure contract renewals.
* Implement retention strategies to ensure a high level of customer loyalty and reduce churn.
* Handle customer queries and concerns regarding their contracts, providing solutions that meet their needs while aligning with company objectives.
* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
* Work closely with the customer service and sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling during the renewal process.
* Analyse customer feedback and work with the management team to improve products and services.
Achieve or exceed monthly renewal targets.

Requirements
* Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably within the utility or similar industry.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations gracefully.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable experience
* Experience in handling renewals and retention in a B2B environment.
