About the Organization

There’s never been a more exciting time to join TeamQEH. At The QEH we provide a comprehensive range of specialist, acute, obstetrics and community-based services to around 331,000 people across west and north Norfolk, North Cambs and South Lincs. We uphold values of kindness, wellness and fairness, pursue continuous quality improvement, and offer recognised learning and apprenticeships. We value our 4,000 staff and volunteers and have approx. 530 beds across 33 wards with modern education facilities and a supportive team environment.

Patient Care & Clinical Duties

* Provide safe blood product administration and venous access device care.
* Deliver high standards of infection prevention and control.
* Manage complex symptoms such as pain, nausea, fatigue, and breathlessness.
* Support patients requiring palliative and end-of-life care, ensuring dignity and comfort.

Communication & Support

* Provide education, information, and emotional support to patients and families, promoting shared decision-making.
* Work collaboratively with oncologists, palliative care teams, allied health professionals, and specialist nurses to ensure seamless care.
