Key Responsibilities of the Computing Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, covering Computing, ICT, and related topics.
* Teach core concepts such as programming, coding, cybersecurity, and digital media.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their potential.
* Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and problem-solving.
* Integrate technology effectively into teaching and encourage innovation among students.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and enrichment opportunities.
Requirements for the Computing Teacher role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Computing or ICT within a school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date awareness of digital trends.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to fostering digital confidence and independent learning.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
