An accomplished Independent School in Nottingham is looking for a warm and experienced Reception Teacher to join its Early Years team on a Part-Time basis from January 2026. The Reception Teacher will be part of planning before January 2026, attend induction during January 2026, and commence teaching from January 2026. As an Independent School, the setting offers small classes, excellent indoor/outdoor facilities and a supportive tutoring and mentoring culture for the Reception Teacher. Reception Teacher — responsibilities (Independent School context) • The Reception Teacher will lead play-rich continuous provision and adult-led phonics sessions as the Reception Teacher. • The Reception Teacher will use observation to assess progress against the Early Learning Goals and plan purposeful next steps as the Reception Teacher. • The Reception Teacher will engage parents through workshops and support a smooth transition into Year 1 as the Reception Teacher. The Reception Teacher will prepare resources before January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Part-Time Reception Teacher.
