Overview
Administrative Officer role at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Part-time 18.75 hours as a job share to support the Perinatal Mental Health Team. The post is one of three admin staff providing administrative support to the Perinatal clinical team.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will, under the supervision of the Line Manager/Administrative Supervisor, provide a comprehensive, confidential secretarial/administrative service to clinical/support services, in an efficient and confidential manner.
Work within well-established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines, whilst acting within the required sphere of competences. Demonstrate sound knowledge of the service to enable decision making. May work within clinical environments where conflict resolution may be required. Act as principal point of contact for users of the service (internal and external) and work flexibly to meet service needs. Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, communicate effectively and empathetically, and maintain confidentiality and dignity of service users.
Prioritise own tasks, exercise initiative and judgement, and refer issues outside of the postholder's level of competency to the Line Manager. Use email, book appointments, manage diaries, use clinical systems and handle telephone calls, with good customer service.

Qualifications and experience
Essential: NVQ Level 3 or RSA III or OCR III (or equivalent level of qualification in related subject, e.g., business administration, typing/word processing, customer services) or demonstrated competency at Level 3. Desirable: willingness to undertake further study/development.

Training
* Must be willing/able to undertake all mandatory Trust training requirements and refresher training relevant to the area
