Outreach Tutor (GCSE English, Maths & Science Support)
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Outreach Tutor to provide bespoke 1:1 tuition to young people in Buckinghamshire who are currently not attending mainstream education. This role focuses on supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, helping them re-engage with learning and build confidence in GCSE English, Maths, and potentially Science.
As an Outreach Tutor, you will design and deliver tailored lessons that address gaps in knowledge and promote academic progress. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified teacher (QTS, PGCE) who is passionate about making a difference outside the traditional classroom setting.
Many of the pupils you'll work with may have experienced disrupted education and low self-esteem. Your role will be to provide structure, encouragement, and a positive learning experience that helps them thrive.
