Job Title: Day Shift Supervisor Location: Doncaster Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day (Day Shift) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: We are recruiting for a hands-on Day Shift Supervisor to join a busy industrial processing facility in Doncaster. You will oversee daily operations, support the site team, and ensure production targets and safe working practices are maintained throughout each shift. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise a team of operatives and machinery operators * Manage daily workflow and production targets * Maintain strict health & safety standards on-site * Carry out shift handovers and toolbox talks * Complete basic reporting and operational paperwork * Communicate with senior management regarding staffing levels and performance * Operate machinery where required and lead by example on the shop floor Skills & Experience Required: * Previous experience in a supervisory or team-leading role within an industrial environment (manufacturing, waste, aggregates, recycling, logistics, or similar) * Hands-on experience operating loading shovels and 360 grab machines * Strong leadership and communication skills * Good understanding of safe working practices * Ability to work in a fast-paced, manual environment * Proactive and organised approach to managing people and workloads Desirable: * Experience working in heavy plant or industrial processing environments * FLT or additional plant licences advantageous (but not essential) What We Offer: * Monday to Friday day shifts – no weekends * Competitive pay * Long-term, stable position * Supportive working environment with progression potential We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status
