Join Our Team as a Gynaecology Hysteroscopy Nurse!
Are you a skilled and compassionate nurse with a passion for women's health?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Gynae Hysteroscopy Nurse to join our dedicated NHS team, supporting patients undergoing hysteroscopy procedures in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
What You’ll Do:
✔️ Assist in delivering high-quality care during outpatient hysteroscopy procedures, supporting consultants
✔️ Prepare patients for procedures, providing reassurance, education, and post-procedure care
✔️ Ensure all clinical areas are fully equipped, clean, and safe in line with infection control policies
✔️ Accurately document patient assessments, observations, and interventions using electronic patient record systems
✔️ Act as a chaperone and provide emotional support to patients during sensitive procedures
✔️ Monitor for adverse reactions or complications during and after procedures and escalate appropriately
✔️ Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely referrals, follow-up care, and excellent patient outcomes
✔️ Contribute to audits, service improvement initiatives, and patient feedback processes
✔️ Maintain up-to-date knowledge and training related to gynaecology and ambulatory procedures
What We’re Looking For:
✅ NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)
✅ 2 years minimum experience within Outpatient setting
✅ Currently practicing or has practised within Gynaecology outpatients as a nurse, for a minimum of 6 months, over the last 12-month period.
