The role sits within the Future Directions and Resilience Department, which is deeply rooted in shaping strategy that delivers on the ambitions of both the organisation and the City. The Delivering for Penrith Program Manager will have an organisational-wide mandate to support and drive a change management process that will align our organisation's delivery with the transformational growth happening across our City. Essential criteria Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Behavioural Science, or a relevant field Demonstrated experience and capability in project management, including consultant management, in a political environment Demonstrated situational leadership skills Demonstrated experience in bringing together diverse stakeholders and establishing a clear vision with agreed timeframes High-level understanding of corporate planning and reporting processes and relevant legislation Demonstrated experience and capability in preparing and delivering politically sensitive written reports and presentations Extensive experience in community engagement on complex projects Demonstrated experience in the delivery of capacity building initiatives and processes Desirable criteria Knowledge and capability in Council systems and processes Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $142,051.00 - $164,429.00 p.a, 12% Superannuation, and will be negotiated commensurate with the skills, qualifications, and experience of the preferred applicant.
