Our client is looking for an experienced HGV 2 Night Driver
Sunday to Thursday 22.00 - 06.00
To ensure vehicle and equipment used for delivering stock is operated in a safe and secure manner in order to minimise risk to the general public, co-workers and the environment. To drive the vehicle to its destination both efficiently and legally, and to accurately and responsibly deliver stock to customer locations and leaving the locations in a secure state when complete

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Conducting daily walk round checks on vehicle and trailer to ensure roadworthiness, observing and communicating any defects and completing relevant documentationObserving and ensuring load security. Using appropriate load restraints to secure load and ensuring vehicle and equipment are safe for travelDriving the vehicle safely with consideration for vehicles, pedestrians and venerable road usersDriving the vehicle in accordance with the law, EU Drivers hours regulations, and the Road Transport Working Time directiveCommunicating any delays or issues to the relevant personsMaintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment, internally and externallyAccessing unmanned stores, locking them back up and re-arming alarms following delivery

Salary £41,600 PA
