Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and through home care services. Your primary focus will be on assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication management.
* Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
* Foster a supportive environment by engaging clients in conversation and activities that promote their well-being.
* Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to road safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
* Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team.
* A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients as needed.
