Our Legal 500–recognised client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant with strong administrative and organisational skills. A solid understanding of Conveyancing Law and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Responsibilities for this Conveyancing Assistant role:
Perform a range of general administrative duties to support the team’s daily operations
Prepare and issue quotes to clients in a timely and accurate manner
Handle enquiries from clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents, ensuring clear and professional communication
Provide regular client updates and monitor the progress of matters to ensure smooth case progression
Open and close files on the case management system, ensuring full compliance with the firm’s AML policies, quality standards, and SRA/CQS regulations
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in handling leasehold transactions
Conduct online property searches efficiently and accurately
Use the Land Registry portal to submit registrations, respond to requisitions, and order official copies, leases, and title plans
Generate Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) calculations and submit relevant applications
Prepare and submit bills, receipts, and payments to the finance team on behalf of fee earners
Provide occasional reception cover as required to support front-of-house operations
