A part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available to support students in a K-12 school setting in Jersey City, NJ. This position offers service three days per week during the normal school year (NSY) on a contract basis, providing a structured environment to apply your expertise in applied behavior analysis.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing, implementing, and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans for students
* Conducting functional behavior assessments and data analysis to guide treatment strategies
* Collaborating with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistency and progress
* Training school staff on behavior management techniques and ABA principles
* Monitoring and adjusting interventions based on ongoing student performance
Qualifications and Experience:
* Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
* Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings, preferably K-12
* Strong knowledge of ABA methodologies and behavior assessment tools
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to maintain detailed documentation and reporting
