About the Role
The Retail Development Manager's primary objectives are to:
* Drive guest experience excellence and to maximise the profitability of our Managed Houses by ensuring achievement of financial targets.
* Support, develop and coach/mentor pub managers and their teams.
* Champion the Company's Vision and Values.
* Ensure statutory compliance.
* Work collaboratively with other Wadworth departments to ensure efficient and effective ways of working.
* Take a commercial approach, ensuring brilliant execution through strong engagement and influence.
This is a field-based role, with regular travel across our Managed estate.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Passionate people development, customer experience and operational excellence.
* An experienced operator with the presence and credibility to work confidently at a senior level.
* Able to work across a diverse range of businesses, have a broad impact and effect positive change.
* A natural collaborator, skilled at building relationships and gaining buy-in across diverse teams - able to lead a team and work well within a team.
* Highly structured and organised.
* Able to work at pace and is not afraid to challenge the status quo
* Commercially astute with the ability to analyse financial information and identify opportunities to future-proof the business.
