The salary for this role is £12.40 per hour.

As a Christmas Customer Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the action, greeting customers with a smile, offering product and gift advice, and creating a memorable experience that leads to a happily ever after and keeps them coming back all year round.

About the role
You will work in a Boots store and report to the Assistant or Store Manager, and your responsibilities will include:
* Customer Interaction: You\'ll offer thoughtful advice, recommend products and highlight our amazing offers to ensure everyone has an enjoyable shopping experience and no one leaves empty-handed.
* Till Operation: Whether you\'re wrapping up purchases at the counter or supporting our self-checkout systems, you\'ll bring energy and efficiency to every transaction.
* Stock Management: You\'ll take pride in keeping shelves full so our customers can always find exactly what they need during the busiest shopping season of the year.
* Store Presentation: We\'re proud of our stores, so you will ensure every area always looks its best.
* Online order support: While this is a customer-facing role, you may assist with deliveries, picking, and packing for online orders as needed.
What you\'ll need to have
Full training is provided for this role, but these are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed:
* Available to work Bank Holidays including Black Friday week and weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year\'s Day.
* Customer Service Skills: Comfortable approaching customers and providing a personalised experience that leaves a lasting impression.
* Operations Ready: Ability to balance customer care with daily shopfloor and operational tasks.
* Tech-Savvy: Ability to learn about and use new technology, including operating handheld devices, tills and self-checkouts.
* Team Player: A collaborative, one-team mindset is necessary for helping each other meet store goals and enjoy the experience.
* Physical Stamina: You\'ll be on your feet, standing, walking and lifting.
* Brand Ambassador: Passion for Boots ethos, products and services and a desire to share them with customers.
Desirable experience
Desirable experience is not essential; applications are welcome from candidates who do not meet these additional criteria.
* Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
