We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the potential of young children in a nursery setting. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage a diverse group of children, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that promotes early childhood education.
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across various domains including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
* Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.
* Manage daily routines and transitions smoothly to ensure a positive experience for all children.
* Observe and assess children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents and caregivers as necessary.
* Foster strong relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
* Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational programme and share best practices.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Experience
* Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
* The ability to motivate and inspire both children and team members.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.

Hours
The role is 30-40 hours Monday - Friday - Various patterns available to choose from.
The setting is closed bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
