The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that meet the individual learning needs of pupils, whilst creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive. Responsibilities Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and communication development Create a structured and engaging learning environment that promotes independence and achievement Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and therapy professionals to ensure pupils receive holistic support Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and reporting Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs is desirable Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to teaching Excellent communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs The school offers a welcoming and supportive team environment, ongoing professional development opportunities, and the chance to work alongside experienced SEN professionals dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
