Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager and Senior Embryologist to support operational and clinical functions within our new laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong embryology background and clinical skills, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Effective leadership, communication, and teamwork are essential.
Responsibilities
* Support the Lab Manager in opening the laboratory and developing activities.
* Manage daily lab operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Oversee patient care processes and adhere to clinical protocols.
* Train and support staff.
* Collaborate with medical professionals to improve patient outcomes.
* Maintain accurate medical records and confidentiality.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
* Ensure effective communication between departments for seamless patient care.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience
* Qualified Senior/Lead Embryologist
* HCPC Registered
* Knowledge of HFEA and UK Legislation
* Experience in hospital or lab settings preferred.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
* Commitment to professional development.
