We’re seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Operations team and play a key role in driving process excellence across the plant. This role is based at our Manufacturing site in Folkestone, Kent, on site for 5 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver lean training and facilitate improvement events across the site. Monitor key performance metrics and promote a strong problem‑solving culture. Partner with site leadership to identify, scope and deliver improvement projects. Collaborate with other C&D sites to strengthen the wider lean network. Lead and support 5S initiatives across the operation. Coach and empower teams at all levels to adopt improvement practices. Support the corporate lean programme as directed by the CI Manager. Capture and prioritise shop‑floor improvement ideas with site leadership. Education & Experience: Technical, engineering, or operations‑focused qualification—or relevant practical experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing. Hands‑on involvement in 5S, Kaizen, root‑cause analysis, or similar CI activities. Understanding of key operational metrics (safety, quality, output, cost). Experience working cross‑functionally and supporting site‑wide initiatives. Lean certification (Yellow/Green Belt) desirable but not essential. We’re looking for someone with strong lean and CI knowledge who enjoys analysing processes, identifying opportunities, and empowering others to improve. You’ll be a confident communicator, comfortable working with everyone from shop‑floor teams to senior leaders, and skilled at coaching and influencing. Adaptable, collaborative, and digitally confident, you’ll thrive in a fast‑moving environment where every improvement makes a real difference. This role works Monday – Friday, 37-hours per week.
