Location: Fergus House Duration: 35 hours per week General Assistant Job Purpose: To undertake all necessary general and specific duties, ensuring a clean, safe and tidy environment using, where appropriate, specific equipment and PPE This post is within Fergus House, covering general assistant tasks as required. Experience essential. Requirements The post holder needs to hold as a minimum: Experience of general assistant support in a customer focused environment Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme Record (PVG) or willing to become a scheme member The post holder will be expected to: Work at weekends and within a 7 day shift pattern Responsibilities The post holder needs to be able to demonstrate an understanding or experience of: Health and safety awareness Safe use of a range of food preparation equipment The needs of older people Operating a range cleaning equipment Interpersonal skills; communication, Able to operate kitchen equipment Using your initiative The Individual Please see Job Profile for further details.
