Location: Scunthorpe, Worsley, Remote
Salary: Highly competitive dependent on qualifications
Hours: 37.5 per week, 8.30am – 17.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Who is Chevron Traffic Management?
In simple terms, Chevron Traffic Management is the company that sets up temporary road or lane closures, diversions routes or pedestrian walkways to keep road workers and road users safe while roadworks are underway. This involves putting out road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible all over the country. About the role of a Traffic Management CAD Designer:
As a Temporary Traffic Management Designer, you will use an array of the latest software available in the industry, to the highest level from 2D street works to 3D BIM designs on high and low speed dual carriageways.
You will be responsible for designing these projects in line with regulations and reporting to our Design supervisor. Other duties will include:
8. Traffic Management CAD designing
9. Attending client meetings
10. Maintenance of internal design records
11. Conducting design risk assessments
About you:
You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable liaising with clients and customers. Well organised and self motivated, you are able to work to strict deadlines and have a flexible working approach. A team player, you go above and beyond as well as being comfortable working solely.
Essential Attributes for a Traffic Management CAD Designer:
12. Experience in CAD design technician role
13. Experience in a similar role or installations of temporary traffic management
14. Understanding of industry guidelines and reference documents
15. Competent in AutoCAD Civils / BricsCAD / Cone / AutoTURN / KeyLines / KeySigns
16. Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Attributes for a Traffic Management CAD Designer:
17. BIM & 3D design experience/ knowledge
18. IHE Temporary Traffic Management Certificate or working towards this
