About the Role: As Head Veterinary Nurse, you’ll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the practice, working closely with veterinary surgeons and practice leadership team to deliver exceptional patient care. You will lead and inspire a team of nurses and support staff, ensuring high clinical standards are maintained and promoting best practice in all areas of nursing. The team consists of 8 Vets, 10 nurses along with 4 CCA’s and 1 VCA. The position is full-time working 40hrs a week and only 1 in 6 weeks weekends. Key Responsibilities: Lead, support, and develop the nursing team Organise rotas and maintain clinical governance Ensure the smooth daily running of the practice Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
