Outreach Support Worker - Immediate Start Location: Bristol Contract: Urgent requirement | Full‑time Driving: Applicants must drive and have - or be willing to obtain - business insurance Salary: Competitive (depending on experience) We are urgently seeking a warm, patient, and proactive Outreach Support Worker to support a young boy in the Bristol area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys gentle, child‑led interaction, has experience with autism, and is confident supporting a young person with a curious, exploratory nature. This school is committed to offering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels understood and valued. Their personalised approach ensures children with additional needs-particularly those who learn best through calm, structured, and sensory‑friendly experiences-receive the stability and encouragement required to thrive. In this role, you will be supporting a very sweet young boy with autism and low‑level behavioural needs who benefits from consistent routines, patient communication, and safe opportunities to explore the world around him. You will plan calm, structured, and interest‑led activities that encourage exploration while maintaining clear boundaries and safety. You will also be responsible for transporting him to and from school each day, offering reassurance and consistency during transitions. A core part of the role involves supporting him as he explores his surroundings, ensuring he remains safe, engaged, and supported while his natural curiosity is encouraged in appropriate ways.
