Registered Manager (CQC)
Salary: up to£49,400 per annum (plus on call allowance)
Location: Peterborough (East)
Contract/Hours: Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week – Monday to Friday with some flexibility to meet the needs of the service.

A bit about the service
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Managers to lead a CQC registered home, for a young person transitioning from their current care provision. This is a unique opportunity to bring them closer to their family, whilst providing the stability, consistency and specialised care they deserve.
Our approach is therapeutic, driven by love and a commitment to help the young person thrive. As registered manager, you will champion a therapeutic approach, fostering an environment that promotes well-being and growth. You will play a key role in integrating the young person into their community, whilst developing and supporting their independence.
Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. You will work closely with a range of partners, including health, education, and social care professionals, as well as the young person's family, to deliver high quality trauma informed support. These strong relationships will enable the young person to pursue their interests and enjoy a fulfilling life.
A bit about the roles:
As Registered Manager, you will lead a dedicated team in providing tailored care and support to a young adult with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs, empowering them to thrive in their own home and community. Leading by example, you will cultivate a supportive and nurturing environment for both our team and the individual we support.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential as you guide and support the team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and promote independence. An understanding of the CQC framework for supported living is essential, along with experience in supporting individuals with autism learning difficulties, and complex needs. Knowledge of DoLS, positive behaviour support approaches, such as Pro-act-scipt is also required.

How you'll help to create brighter future:
Some key responsibilities of your role as a Registered Manager (CQC)will be;
* Manage recruitment opportunities as they arise and complete induction of any new members of the staff team
* Providing high quality supportive 1:1 and reflective supervision to direct reports.
* Promoting and delivering the highest standards of safeguarding practice utilising existing processes and best practice to create a safe positive work and service environment.
* Developing and maintaining effective working relationships and maintain channels of communication with colleagues, community organisations, partner agencies and other external agencies
* Developing and maintaining effective networks, relationships, partnerships, and contacts to improve outcomes for our young adult
* To work closely with CQC to ensure we are operating a home that is deemed to be offering high quality care through effective leadership and management.

* Experience in a management role within a residential/social care setting.
* Creating an inclusive service, in terms of meeting the needs of the individual and establishing a workforce that further enables an inclusive environment
* Knowledge and understanding of the CQC requirements
* Relevant experience working with young adults in a residential setting is crucial
* You should possess strong leadership and management skills
