Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. For hours worked between midnight and 6am, you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We support flexible scheduling and will notify you of shifts with 3 weeks' notice. We are open to flexible availability that matches our needs.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Shift Leader, you'll support store operations, oversee team activities, and ensure excellent customer service. Your role involves managing shifts, coaching colleagues, maintaining store standards, supporting safety routines, and contributing to a positive team environment.
You must be 18 or over to apply. Your responsibilities include:
* Coordinating store team to deliver a seamless shopping experience
* Supporting colleagues and ensuring they meet priorities
* Opening/closing the store and managing duty coverage
* Being the point of contact in the absence of a manager
* Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation
* Supporting community and charity events
* Providing excellent customer service and team communication
* Monitoring store performance and suggesting improvements
* Following health and safety procedures
* Recognizing colleagues' good service
