The Position:
As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW), you will be a key member of the multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality personal care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will carry out a range of care tasks, ensuring safe, person-centred support in line with NHS Orkney policies. The role includes maintaining care standards, participating in ongoing training, and contributing to a positive patient experience.
The Candidate:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual who is committed to delivering high-quality care and service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and engage effectively with patients, colleagues, and external partners.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
Applicants should hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent knowledge and experience).

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.
