Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager
Salary: £25,500 per annum + £3,000 service charge
Accommodation: Live-in 2-bedroom flat available at £93 per week

We are currently seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team in a well-located establishment on the edge of town. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our restaurant and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The position offers a competitive salary of £25,500 per year, with an additional £3,000 service charge. Additionally, a comfortable 2-bedroom flat is available for the successful candidate at a subsidized rate of £93 per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
- Lead by example and provide guidance to the restaurant team, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in creating and implementing staff training programs to maintain consistent service quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and coordination between the front and back of house.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist in financial management, including monitoring costs, analyzing sales data, and contributing to budget planning.
- Stay updated with industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
