SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Nottingham (Outskirts) Salary: £90 - £120 per day Contact: Ben Moses - (phone number removed) | Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school on the outskirts of Nottingham to recruit passionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with a range of complex needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Conditions, in a nurturing and structured environment that prioritises personal development and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual emotional and behavioural needs Assist in the delivery of targeted interventions and therapeutic activities Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams to create a safe and supportive setting Help students develop self-regulation, confidence, and positive learning behaviours Ideal Candidates Will Have: Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs A calm, consistent, and non judgemental approach to behaviour management Strong communication and relationship-building skills A genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable young people If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in an SEMH setting and thrive in a supportive, team-focused environment, we want to hear from you.
