Support Worker
We support people to understand their diagnosis and how this may impact on their life and the lives of those around them. Our residential services provide accommodation and support for autistic adults 52 weeks a year, 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings. We also provide supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live in their own homes or within our accommodation, whether as tenants or owner occupiers, living alone, or with others.

We are looking for Support Workers with the passion, commitment and enthusiasm to line manage the staff team and work with 2 gentlemen living in their own home. The gentlemen frequently access the local community participating in a wide range of interests which include walking, train rides, swimming, visiting the supermarket and bus journeys. Ideally you will have a background in supporting autistic people but if not, we have a fantastic training programme that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will be diverse, rewarding and help two people achieve a quality life.
Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, and will include evening and weekend working.

Being a Support Worker takes passion, patience, commitment and dedication but working with autistic people gives you so much more.
Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is Essential.

To protect our autistic adults, all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.
